Connecting to a host to view the host properties

The NetBackup Administration Console displays properties for NetBackup primary servers, media servers, and clients under Host Properties.

Use the following procedure to connect to and to view the host properties of a primary server, a media server, or a client.

Note:

To connect to a host and view the host properties on the NetBackup web UI, on the left pane, select Hosts > Host Properties. On the right pane, select the Primary Server, Media Servers, or Clients.

Select the host, and from the Actions menu, select Connect.

To connect to and view host properties of primary server, media server, or client

  1. In the NetBackup Administration Console, expand NetBackup Management > Host Properties.
  2. In the left pane, select Master Servers, Media Servers, or Clients.
  3. In the right pane, perform one of the following to connect to a host:
    • Highlight the host by selecting the row. The host is connected to after approximately 3 seconds.

    • Right-click a host and select Connect.
