Configuring WMI security for Windows (optional)

Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) security protects access to the namespace data. NetBackup Snapshot Manager uses the root\cimv2 namespace. This name space must be accessible to only those users that are configured using the connect option. For details, see Maintaining WMI Security.
