Configure the FIPS mode in your NetBackup domain
This section provides steps to enable the FIPS mode in your NetBackup domain. Before proceeding with the steps, ensure that the prerequisites are met in your environment.

The following settings are required to configure the FIPS mode:
Enable the FIPS mode for each host in the NetBackup domain.
Enable the FIPS mode for the NetBackup Authentication Broker (AT) by updating the VRTSatlocal.conf configuration file on the master server.

Enable the FIPS mode for the NetBackup Administration Console.

Note:
Ensure that the required configuration steps are carried out on every NetBackup host as applicable.
