IPsec tunnel states
The Flex Appliance Console displays the current state of every configured IPsec tunnel.
Table: IPsec tunnel states
State | Description |
|---|---|
Connected | An active, established tunnel exists between the appliance and the peer. Traffic between the two endpoints is encrypted. |
Failed | The application instance is online, but the tunnel is not established. This state is expected while a tunnel is waiting for the peer to complete its configuration. If a previously connected tunnel changes to Failed, verify the tunnel configuration on both sides. |
