Supported update paths to this release

The following describes the supported update paths to Flex Appliance version 8.0:

Direct update path
You can update directly from version 4.0 or later to version 8.0.
Multi-step update path
Any appliance running an earlier version must first be updated to version 4.0. If you have a multi-node appliance, update both nodes to version 4.0 before you update to version 8.0.
