Before configuring the NetBackup client for Access Appliance, you must have completed the following:

• Add the valid licenses on the NetBackup primary server.

• Make sure that host names of the primary server and the NetBackup client installed on Access Appliance can be resolved and the reverse lookup is working.

• The file system used for the NetBackup client configuration should be a minimum of 10 GB with a 5-way striped layout. The client configuration uses 1 GB or less of space of the file system, and the remaining space is used for NetBackup Accelerator track logs.
