Removing disks from a storage pool
Storage pools are used to classify storage using user-defined criteria. The best practice is to group disks with similar characteristics into a storage pool. A single storage pool can contain both SSD and HDD storage.
To remove disks from a storage pool
- Prerequisites:
Disks must not be in a used state.
- Go to Infrastructure > Disks. Select the disks and click Remove from storage pool.
- View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
