To create an S3 bucket for NetBackup with a cloud tier

1. Prerequisites:

   Configure storage.

   Start the S3 server.

   Subscribing to a Cloud service.

   Activate an LTR policy.

   Generate S3 keys.

2. Quick Actions: Go to Provision Storage > Storage for NetBackup > S3 with Cloud Tier, and then click Continue.
3. Click the Configure Storage tab and specify the storage options.
4. Click the Configure S3 Server tab, and then click Start S3 Server to start the S3 server.
5. Click the Activate LTR Policy tab, select a policy for the S3 bucket, and then click Activate Policy.
6. Click the Generate S3 Keys tab and enter the required access and the secret key that you generated as an AD user.
7. Click the Provision Storage tab, and then click Finish.

   Note:

   If a storage policy is not activated, you cannot provision storage for the S3 bucket.

8. View the Recent Activity panel for the status of the task.
