Globally Search Objects

Cohesity allows you to search for objects, such as files, document libraries, storage volumes, and databases. You can then refine the search results and perform actions on the objects.

You can filter the objects by:

• Status - Protection status of the object such as Protected, Unprotected, Unavailable.

• Type - Type of source such as Virtual Machines, Applications, Microsoft 365, Azure, Databases and so on.

• Region - Cloud regions where the backup is stored.

• Source - Sources registered on the cluster.

You can also use the wildcard * to list all the items.

On the search results, you can perform actions such as:

• Protect unprotected objects

• Investigate failed Protection Groups

• Recover or clone snapshots

• Filter snapshots based on timeline and so on.
