Recover User Mailboxes
Before you proceed to recover, make sure you have reviewed all considerations.
To recover an individual user mailbox or multiple user mailboxes:

In Cloud Protection Service, go to Sources.
Your registered Google Workspace source appears on the Sources page.
- Click the required Google Workspace source.
- Click the Gmail tab.
- Select the checkboxes of the objects you want to recover.
- Click Recover Mailbox.

Do any of the following as required:

To recover to the original location:
- Click Original Location.

Choose one of the following options based on your overwrite requirements:
- Overwrite existing emails: Select to replace existing content with the recovered data.
- Skip if object exists: Select to Recover data as new.
- Configure any additional recovery options as needed.
- Continue on Error: Enable to recover even if errors occur when recovering mailboxes. For example, if one of the mailboxes cannot be recovered, Cloud Protection Service will still attempt to recover the other selected mailboxes.
- Task Name: Change the default name of the recovery task.
- Click Recover.

To recover to a new location:
- Click New Location.
- Select the required Google Workspace source where you want to Recover the selected objects.
- Select the Target Mailbox where you want to Recover the selected objects.
- Configure any additional recovery options as needed.
- Continue on Error: Enable to recover even if errors occur when recovering mailboxes. For example, if one of the mailboxes cannot be recovered, Cloud Protection Service will still attempt to recover the other selected mailboxes.
- Task Name: Change the default name of the recovery task.
- Click Recover.

To recover to the original location:
The recovery process starts. You can monitor progress on the Activity page.
